Books- 3 (Three) Boxes on Machines, Science & Technology: books about devices, inventions, patents, science, and manufacturing processes. Included are four hardbound volumes of the "Official Gazette of the United States Patent Office" from the late 1800s, two illustrated volumes from 1803 titled "The Elements of Natural or Experimental Philosophy" by Tiberius Cavallo, as well as dozens of loose and hardbound volumes of "Scientific American" magazine dating from the 1880s to 1920s.
CONDITION:
some newer books in very good condition and many older ones in fair condition, some with damaged bindings, loose, and darkened pages. Tiberius Cavallo (1749 – 1809) was an Italian physicist who became a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1779. A trove of mechanical information that you are unlikely to find anywhere else.
